The Athens Chamber of Commerce MISSION is to support the membership by enhancing the quality of life, promoting business and improving economic development in the Athens area.
In support of this MISSION, the Chamber is committed to:

1. Provide programs, services and activities which are of value to Chamber members and the community at large.
2. Provide a positive community image for business and promote a business friendly environment in the Athens area,
3. Support business issues through involvement in local and regional governments, the business community, and the public.
4. Continue current and initiate additional programs that are mutually beneficial to the business community.
