Athens Welcomes you
With a history rich in agriculture, industry and innovation, Athens has become a symbol for celebrating the past, while advancing into the future.
While Athens celebrates its past, it continues to grow. With enrollment increasing year over year at Trinity Valley Community College, this growth facilitated the need for a 48,000 square foot, 150-bed new residence. Construction on the new residential hall will began in 2010 and the new dorm opened in the fall of 2011.
The Athens Chamber of Commerce is the catalyst organization to advance Athens’ businesses into the future and toward prosperity. The Chamber achieves this by creating programs, services and activities which are of value to Chamber members and the community. We provide a positive community image for businesses while promoting a business friendly environment in the Athens area.
